1. Tell us about yourself. What do you do in supply chain?

At Supply Chain Insights I am a Research Associate. My main responsibilities include analyzing data for the Metrics that Matter series done monthly, as well as the annual Supply Chains to Admire report.

2. What cool thing are you working on now?

Right now I am working on a Metrics that Matter Report for the Food and Beverage industry. We will be looking at the supply chain performance of companies in this industry and compare the performance of years past.

3. How did you get interested in supply chain as a career?

I became interested in supply chain during my freshman year of college. I was trying to decide between pursuing a degree in either engineering or business. Supply Chain seemed to be an industry that combined both disciplines.

4. What hobbies do you pursue in your leisure time?

I enjoy playing tennis, watching football (Go Colts!) and playing with our 2 dogs. I also like to read biographies in my spare time. I am currently reading “The Rise of Theodore Roosevet” by Edmund Morris.

5. What topics are you most excited about discussing with other members in Beet Fusion?

I am most excited about talking about how supply chain is evolving and how it will look 10 years from now. With technology moving forward at the speed that is there is just no telling where the future will lead us!

6. What supply chain trends of evolution are you anticipating will change your business?

I think cryptocurrencies will be very interesting to watch over the next 5 years as it relates to supply chain.
