3D printing is evolving to meet needs, new and old.

There has been a breakthrough in 3D printing that items can be to move or bend.  Door handles, pliers and other pliable objects are possible.  Researchers at Hasso Plattner Institute in Germany have refined 3D-printed metamaterial. Metamaterial is a system of microstructures printed inside an object.
